Install error – This version of Windows can only install verified apps

Installing Tdata products on Windows 10S

When installing software on Windows 10S, you may see a Windows warning that “This version of Windows can only install verified apps.” This message typically appears when installing an app which was not downloaded from the Microsoft store.

Despite that warning, you can allow the software to run by right-clicking the Start menu and choosing Settings from the list. The Windows Settings window appears:

Click on Apps to open the Apps & features window.

From the section Choose where to get apps, select Anywhere from the list. Finally, close the Apps & features window and try the installation again.
