IApproach – Issue with Adobe Reader auto updating to 64 bit

IApproach users: Adobe Reader is now automatically updating to the 64-bit version which is causing issues with viewing Service Bulletins, Printing and previewing Forms, and certain features of IApproach that utilize PDF viewer.

To avoid and/or fix this issue from occurring it is recommended that Adobe Reader 64-bit be uninstalled and replaced with The Foxit PDF Reader.

To uninstall Adobe Reader, click on the search button in the task bar at the bottom of the screen and type ‘Control Panel’ then click on the Control Panel icon:

When Control Panel opens, click on ‘Programs / uninstall a program’.

In the resulting list of programs, right-click on Adobe Acrobat Reader and select ‘Uninstall’ then follow the prompts to complete the process.

Download and Install FoxIt Reader (click here to download). During the installation, if you are prompted to set Foxit Reader as the default PDF viewer – click Yes/Allow.
