Support: AVANT Error Message – Please Insert CD/DVD

Problem: Error message “Please Insert CD” is received when opening the AD program.

There are several resolutions for this error message depending on how the program is installed and being used.

Suggestion # 1: Run the program using the most current bi-weekly disc you have available.
When you update the program with a current disc, and then use an older disc, it can cause this message to
appear.

Suggestion # 2: Re-run the installation from the current bi-weekly disc which will reset the paths of the content location.

Suggestion # 3: If you run the program from the CD/DVD, reinstall it from the bi-weekly disc. If the program is copied to and ran from the hard drive, reinstall the program from the drive where the bi-weekly
disc is copied. Do not reinstall it from the disc.
